It seems like the songs keep getting better in my opinion. Honestly, this one's the best yet. :)
I love the metaphor of the builder. That is a really powerful image...building a wall to shut people and experiences out, all the while...losing one's sense of self and ultimately, participation in life. Of course, you know my love of melancholy wants to think of this song in the context of some kind of sadness that the outsider feels on behalf of the almost non-feeling builder.
