Well, there are plenty of demons to go around.Is anyone making resolutions? I hate those things. I finally quit smoking this year, and that's resolution enough for me. I would like to not be so damn broke all the time. But alas...

Happy New Year! Yes, plenty of demons to go around, aren't there?! I"m not big on resolutions for the new year but am always big on resolutions that emerge in their own way and in their own time. I can only imagine (not being a smoker) how difficult it was to quit smoking. Congrats on that.
Best wishes and much happiness in 2008! And don't ever feel that posting melancholy songs gets old. For many of us, we appreciate melancholy for what it is... inspired sadness!

I like that.
It makes me think of morose existentialist poets, lounging about with single malt scotch in their hands and pooh-poohing the ill-fated Universe.
"Inspired happiness", on the other hand, conjures up images of much simpler things. A peanutbutter and banana sandwich, perhaps. Or a perfect pair of warm, fuzzy socks.
