Wow. I nearly went completely mental writing this song. I had about 10 different versions and think I lost a good bit of hair and sleep in the process, but, it's done! and I like it.
This is the close of the second month of One Song Per Week, and I really appreciate all of you who come back week after week to listen to this stuff. I especially want to thank the folks that have bought tracks off the site (not quite able to quit my job yet, but I was this close to being able to buy a bottle of wine last month).

Whoa! Song #5 sure took a beating in the polls. Note to self: don't write anymore songs like that one! Seriously though, I appreciate everyones honesty.
This weeks song came about in a very strange way. I had a dream I was walking down a street and I heard someone singing. Upon closer inspection, I saw that it was Bill Cosby, and he was sitting on the steps of an old brownstone singing this song. I woke up and realized it was definitely not Bill Cosby's song, or anyone elses song for that matter, so I wrote it down. This is the first song that has ever come to me in a dream. I wish they were all like that--so much easier.

You know that point in a break up where you are just exhausted and can't take anymore shit emotionally--usually that comes right before the stage where you're just f***ing angry and realize they weren't any good anyway--yeah, this is that song.
