break-up business. I'm not sure which order of emot
ions suits you best, but for me it goes like this: shock, sadness, anger...and then a little lingering malaise (or is it apathy? I'm not sure.) I got to feeling tired of always having to
get over shit. Seems there is always something else to get over, and wouldn't it just be easier not to let any of it get to you anymore--like you were your own personal army, and you're not going to let anyone thru your defenses this time. Thus sprang this weeks song. If you are offended by people using the word
fuck then you shouldn't listen to this song. I think I use it about
30 times. There goes the chance for any radio play on this one. Oh well...

for me, it's anger, sadness, then avoidance of everything that reminds us of the cause of these feelings. eventually you stop thinking like a robot and you realize you just don't care. feel better

I'm sorry to hear about the shock, sadness, anger, malaise. I know it is beyond difficult. Prolific use of the word "fuck" always seems to help, even if just a little bit.
Hey, this is the first time I've looked at your site . . . and yeah, break-ups are about the worst shit in the US. However, I wanted to say that your blog and life's story are fucking awesome to make a different use of the word. Sadly, shit is often what drives us to our more inspired moments of creativity. Keep up the good work - its rad to see someone doing this.
