Thus sprang this weeks song. If you are offended by people using the word <span style="font-weight: bold;">fuck</span> then you shouldn't listen to this song. I think I use it about <span style="font-style: italic;">30 times</span>. There goes the chance for any radio play on this one. We were there shooting a music video for my girlfriend, most of which was outside. Basically it involved one <span style="font-style: italic;">very </span>large guitar, one town full of <span class="blsp-spelling-corrected" id="SPELLING_ERROR_2">werewolves,</span> and the Bemidji choir. It should be really really great! I wanted to write about the way it feels when it all starts getting out of control, and the unravelling really sets in. Or just do nothing. It's ok.<br /><br />This first song was just finished last night. Its called <span style="font-weight: bold;">The Easy Way Out</span>. When I sat down to write it, I had just gone through a semi-severe obsession with <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Left_Banke">The Left Banke</a> song <span style="font-weight: bold;">Walk Away Renee</span>. I love that song for it's simplicity, yet it's imagery is so perfectly haunting.<br />The chorus for this song came as I was waiting in line for a coffee. It just popped in my head, melody and all. It seemed really universal.
